Art Worx 4 U
Artworx would like to meet your illustration and design needs. Our experience is especially strong in the following areas:
Historic Artworx
We have developed a variety of products with an historic bent to them. We create custom illustrations of historic buildings, monuments, and other structures. We then work with the printers and the client to manifest these renderings in a variety of ways, including:
Post cards
Greeting cards
Stationery
Matted prints
Bookmarks, etc.
Suggested media include traditional ink or pencil, pastel pencil, scratchboard, and watercolors. Our products are appealing to historic villages and sites, museums, Bed & Breakfast owners, bridges, churches, government buildings, and the bookstores and novelty shops that cater to the tourists attending any of these sites. Samples of Historic Artworx can be found on the portfolio page or the catalog.
Children's Artworx
We have worked on a variety of children's activity and educational workbooks, both producing illustrations and conducting the layout and design work. Clients have included the Learning Horizons division of American Greetings and State Studies Weekly, a children's newspaper that publishes state-specific weekly educational issues and upwards of fifty academic and other journal publications.
Custom Artworx
Our freelance experience makes us an ideal source for corporate and private commissions, such as portraits, architectural renderings, art for communications or marketing materials, one-off corporate publications (such as developing an awards banquet booklet), and custom projects for bookstores and other small retailers. We can create the art to your taste, and follow through with managing the printing, product development, layout work, and other project-related needs.
